Ko tēnei he wāhi manaaki wahine.
This is a space dedicated to caring for women.

He wāhi tēnei e manaakitia ai te wahine —
A space where women are welcomed and cared for —

kia tau tōna wairua,
where her spirit can settle,

kia rangona tōna reo,
where her voice can be heard,

kia tiakina tōna mana.
and her mana is protected.

I konei, kāore he whakaiti,
Here, there is no diminishing.

kāore he whakahohoro,
No rushing.

kāore he hiahia kia rerekē ia.
No expectation to become someone else.

Ka puritia te wā,
Time is held gently.

ka whakarangatiratia te tinana,
The body is honoured.

ka whakanuia te kōrero me te noho.
Stories and presence are celebrated.

Ko te aronga matua,
The intention is simple and profound:

kia tū te wahine i tōna ake mana —
That each woman stands firmly in her own mana —

kia kitea, kia mōhiotia, kia maumahara
To be seen, to be known, and to remember

ko wai ia i mua, i tēnei wā, ā muri ake.
Who she was, who she is, and who she is becoming.

He wāhi tēnei nō te aroha, nō te whenua, nō te pono.
A place rooted in love, in the land, and in truth.

He wāhi e manaakitia ana te wahine.
A place where women are cared for.
